Time has pointed out that many Americans are actually in unison in agreement on many of the nations biggest issues from gay marriage, legalizing marijuana, trust in the government, abortion and health insurance.

If you watch the mainstream news you’ll most likely infer that between the debates surrounding the Duck Dynasty debacle, the Obamacare rollout, and the constitutionality of NSA surveillance, Americans are more polarized than ever. But as Time magazine reports, you may be wrong.
