Maybe progressive boys should ask to join the Girl Scouts instead

In contrast, the Girl Scouts of America have been an inclusive organization since their founding and welcome both lesbian and transgender girls. “They are light years ahead of the Boy Scouts,” journalist Michelangelo Signorile tells Cenk. “The Boy Scouts is going backwards… Here you have this organization stuck in something like 20 years ago.” Without support from the Mormon and Catholic churches and other religious groups that sponsor almost two-thirds of troops, Signorile says, BSA would be in even bigger trouble.
