Oliver and Bennett use the platform to shine a light on the cycle of political corruption, politicians shaking down corporations to buy their influence, and corporations courting politicians to serve their interests. Is the system rigged? Is there any way besides an amendment that could fix this? Why is this shameful system of legalized extortion and bribery tolerated?
