To rip – or not to rip? That is the question on everyone’s minds this summer, when it comes to jeans.
TYT’s resident science nerd Jayde Lovell sits down with NYC style commentator Bec Susan Gill to discuss the trend, which is all over the streets of the big apple.
From skinny legs to the casual boyfriend jeans with a cropped hem – here’s some tips on how to wear them.
1) If you want to elongate your legs, have your rips on the vertical direction, to draw the eye to the length of your leg. If you want to look curvier – have your rips horizontal – to draw focus to your shape.
2) If you have lots of rips – then go for simple look up top. If it’s just small rips then you can go bold with statements up top.
