Excellent choice ! I’ve been amazed at the courage shown at Standing Rock. I mentioned to some Native friends that although most Americans are aware of the atrocities committed over the years this is the first time many of us have ever been able to view it and feel it from the Native point of view.
It has fundamentally changed my view of Natives whom I had written off as a backward, irrelevant culture. Now I believe that Native people are going to lead us all to a future of a society based on love and community with respect for the earth, water, air, land. With profits second to life.
