John Iadarola (https://twitter.com/jiadarola) and Jimmy Dore (https://twitter.com/jimmy_dore) filling in for Cenk Uygur (http://www.twitter.com/cenkuygur) host of The Young Turks discuss the debate of whether or not women should be allowed to join Special Ops Units in the U.S. Military.

“Fox & Friends brought up the topic of women in the military and specifically in Special Ops units. Former Navy SEAL Carl Higbie was against any women in Special Ops units, claiming that it would add another variable that was unnecessary. Iraq veteran Amber Smith offered a counter point, stating that if women could meet the physical and psychological requirements to enter a Special Ops unit they should be allowed to join. Higbie countered the counter stating that it would change the group dynamic that was more of a bureaucratic push than a practical one. He wrapped it up stating that adding women was a move that the SEAL community as a whole was not ready for.”
