During his run for reelection earlier in 2015 recently reelected Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that if given the office of Prime Minister again he would block any attempt to form a state of Palestine in Israel. President of the United States Barack Obama fired back stating that any attempt to block the solution would be a bad move that the United States would not support. He also reacted negatively to Netanyahu’s anti-Arab voter remarks giving Netanyahu a strong verbal thrashing. Obama wrapped up by saying that the U.S. was still committed to Israel being a secure state and that the U.S. was still committed to protecting and strengthening its allies.”
