The news story was originally picked up by conservative news outlets, including Fox News, and reported on as if it were fact when it appears no fact checking ever took place.
This comes at a time when Obama is already receiving heavy criticism from conservatives for his reaction to the recent speech made by Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the U.S. Congress.”
