“Authorities say Marion “Suge” Knight argued and exchanged punches with a man before allegedly running him over and fatally striking a friend with his pickup truck.
The former rap music mogul then fled a fast-food parking lot in the Compton area of Los Angeles.
Lt. John Corina of the sheriff’s homicide bureau says Knight had earlier been asked to leave a film set a few miles away after an argument broke out between him and a man working on the set.
Knight’s attorney says he was fleeing from a vicious assault by four men and did not know he had struck and injured the 51-year-old man or fatally injured a friend, 55-year-old Terry Carter.”
