The leader of Germany’s anti-Muslim PEGIDA movement will step down after his Adolf Hitler selfie went viral on social media and sparked outrage. The photo emerged of 41-year-old Lutz Bachmann sporting a Hitler-style haircut and mustache and included the caption “I’m back!” He had also posted racist comments on his Facebook page in the past. Bachmann has since apologized for his controversial statements. Did Bachmann’s attempt at satire go too far? We discuss it, in this Lip News clip with Mark Sovel and Elliot Hill.
