“A former CNN intern has posted what he says is a “never-before-seen video the last living CNN employee will be required to play” if the world was to end.
Michael Ballaban, who was an intern at CNN back in 2009, said he uncovered the video on CNN’s MIRA archiving system under the name “TURNER DOOMSDAY VIDEO” – after a tip-off from his college professor who previously worked for the 24-hour news network.
Last night, he uploaded the clip along with a post on the Jalopnik blog.
The video shows an unassuming military band playing Nearer, My God, to Thee before fading to black – presumably as the world meets its unfortunate demise.”* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur and John Iadarola break it down.
