Uber has been defended by prominent venture capitalist Mark Suster who published a blog post on Saturday entitled, “In Defense of Uber: An Objective Opinion.” The post regards the controversy surrounding the San Francisco-based transport app’s smear campaign on journalists who are critical of them. In the post, Suster argues that Uber’s business tactics are aggressive, but not scandalous and praises the startup for its positive impact on society.
