Marijuana To Be A Ticketable Offense In New York

A new marijuana policy in New York, which goes into effect on November 19th, will give police the option of writing offenders possessing less than 25 grams of marijuana a ticket instead of arresting them. Mayor Bill de Blasio commented on the change essentially saying that it is meant to prevent a small mistake from ruining a person’s life.
