The majority of citizens in the U.S. wants stricter gun laws. The minority of civilians wants less restriction on guns than we have now. That minority also makes a lot more than the majority, and pays the politicians not to change the laws. Welcome to the world. Elect stupid politicians, get stupid laws, and tragedy will happen.
