Two shooting incidents being labeled as terrorist attacks occurred today in Ottawa, Canada. The first occurred at the Canada War Memorial where a soldier was fatally shot by a gunman near Canada’s Parliament building. The second happened this morning inside Parliament where the gunman opened fire near a room where Prime Minister Stephen Harper was speaking. The suspected gunman, who has been identified as Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, was shot dead by Parliament’s Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers.
