Given how many parents think it’s the school’s responsibility to teach their kids everything from Biblical creationism to basic moral values and personal accountability to abstinence and how to treat women, all while being armed against school shootings yet not disciplining kids for stepping out of line, this act was an olive branch dipped in chocolate, wrapped in hundred dollar bills, and personally delivered by Ana with a hug and peck on the cheek.
Guilty. This is inappropriate behavior from a parent whatever her intentions. They say good leaders praise in public and punish in private. I appreciate the mother’s concern for her daughter’s education but an adult should set a proper example for their child even in discipline.
