The new mobile game “Star Wars: Commander” has taken the world by storm, with over 5 million people playing since its launch in late August. More interesting is that the game allows players to pick a side – Rebel Alliance or Empire (light side or dark side) – and the results have been fascinating. When mapped across the world, it’s clear that the more popular faction is the Empire, while the majority of people in the southern hemisphere pick Rebel alliance.
