A high school student was shamed by her school for wearing a skirt that was deemed in violation of the school’s dress code since it fell slightly above her knees. She was penalized by being forced to where a “shame suit.” The girl’s mother has taken action against the school for what she believes is a campaign of public humiliation. Does Public shaming contribute to bullying? Isn’t that about the same as basically telling the other kids that it is okay to bully that person? just a thought
