A lot of people have been asking me how and why I lost weight over the years. I used to weigh 135 when I began working at TYT in 2007, and now I’m around 110. A lot of it has to do with my workout routine. Check out the video for more. I will address this in more detail in a vlog later. We are not nutritionists or health professionals, so please don’t take my advice as expert advice. These are just my thoughts and experiences.

Good on you Ana, however this is not news.

    1. This site is looking more and more like Huffington Post. I guess everything eventually devolves into a shallow substanceless-ness.

      1. You know, sometimes people get sick of ISIS and Isreal and need a break from all of that . Sorry that this doesn’t meet your intellectual needs. Geez, even Sam Sedar does a few comic stories to relieve the stress. Lighten up. If you don’t like it, go somewhere else and stop being such a dark cloud. Why do you have to post such a rude remark and spread negativity? Take a look in the mirror, lady and rethink your attitude.

        1. Do you really think that comment was such a dark cloud of negativity? I was just sharing my opinion, which was a negative one, I do admit. I usually keep my mouth shut when I don’t have something nice to say but this pushed me over the edge. I’m human, I’m not always perfect.

It’s just that I find the click-baity story titles on the TYT web site so much shallower than the old TYT. Even though TYT has always done lighter stories and had some fun, they at least had some interesting things to say about the fluff. I enjoyed that, even if it wasn’t super intellectual. There was some substance, some thought on the human condition or our culture in general.. It’s just annoying to find a small outfit like TYT that you respect and enjoy and as it grows watch it lose some of that substance. That’s all. Luckily TYT hasn’t devolved into mainstream news but this post is really a great example of what that looks like.

        1. Yes, TYT has always done lighter news. What’s different is that they would analyze the lighter news rather than just report it. So, for example, they might do a report on the Kardashian’s diets and workouts and the diet formula they were selling, but they would talk about celebrity worship along with it and how if anything the Kardashians do are really that substantial or newsworthy or if they deserve a table at the WH Correspondents’ Dinner They would point out how antithetical science is to that diet formula. They would talk about the harm that might come to the people who try to follow the Kardashian’s example. They might talk about how the Kardashians are unfairly rewarded for their shallowness. The story would never just be “Kim Kardashian’s Diet and Workout Regime.” Which this story literally is. And that is all it is.

And hey, if you are interested in Ana as a celebrity and she wants to share this with people, great! But doesn’t it belong on her personal YouTube channel rather on the TYT main page? In the same vein, should CNN take the camera off a congresswoman and cut to Justin Bieber coverage? Yes, people will follow news of Justin but where does it belong? On every esteemed news outlet or it it’s own “celebrity news” outlet? That’s all I’m trying to get to. Is this TYT news?
