Many lives were touched by Robin Williams in his many appearances in film, TV, and beyond. When it became more clear that he had been an avid World of Warcraft player, people not only wanted to learn more about his life as a gamer, but wanted Blizzard to memorialize Williams with an NPC dedicated to him in game. Less than 24 hours after the petition, Blizzard agreed, and announced they were starting work. Will the final tribute in-game be what petitioners asked for?
