  1. Per. the enclosed video above… Not sure where you got your information with regards to what you can and can’t do in certain cities…. but I suggest you do some further homework.. Most cities have ordinances, subdivisions have homeowner associations that impose restrictions, both can implement rules with regards to signs, the color of a building, what you can and can’t build, and many more rules and restrictions. None of this has anything to do with first amendment rights.. If the city ordinance restricts the size of a sign, it’s usually based on ongoing rules all businesses must abide by. Same goes for the color of the building, or even your home in the subdivision…. . Just because you own a piece of dirt, doesn’t mean you can build anything you want. Just walk into your local department of building and safety. Start there. You have no idea what you’re talking about. I don’t want to live next-door to some guy thats got a purple house, with pink polkadots on his front door… All businesses must abide by imposed city ordinances, even if it includes the color of your building. In Burbank California, restoration has been going on for years… the community has benefited from it… Do some homework before spat!
