The Pentagon’s F-35 Joint Strike Fighter was grounded for inspection due to technical concerns just days before it was supposed to debut in an air show in the UK. The $400 billion dollar program is already seven years behind schedule, leading some to point out more useful ways in which the money could have been used including providing every homeless person in the U.S. a $600,000 home.
