Was The Story Of A Three-Year-Old Pit Bull Attack Victim Thrown Out Of KFC A Hoax?

“The sad, sad story of a little girl turned away from a KFC due to extensive facial scarring might possibly have been a hoax in order to raise money for an unscrupulous family to pay their child’s medical bills, but KFC said that they’d honor their pledge to pay for 3-year-old Victoria Wilcher’s surgery to repair her face.

“In light of the news that they allegedly pulled a fast one, though, Victoria’s family has ‘unequivocally rejected’ the $30,000 offer, ‘because we didn’t feel it was appropriate to accept it after everything KFC has done,’ the familiy attorney told The Clarion-Ledger.

“KFC released the results of their investigation last Wednesday, finding that not only were the girl and her grandmother not kicked out of a restaurant, but that the restaurant in question didn’t exist.” *
