On May 10, 2014, Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, moderated a series of debates among candidates for California’s 33rd Congressional District seat in the House of Representatives. 12 candidates participated, broken up into three groups.
Topics covered included the candidates’ number one priorities, high speed rail and transportation issues, the Iranian nuclear program, the Obama legacy and the issue of money in politics.
