Episode 5 of Fargo, the FX mini-series is reviewed. Billy Bob Thornton continues his role as Lorne Malvo who in this episode, kills a very likable character. Is the show following the “joke-noir” sub-genre? Are we simply waiting for Malvo to meet his end, or will he never pay for what he’s done? Just who is smart (or dumb) enough to survive to the end of this series? How does the show mesh with the Fargo movie?
