  1. Mostly spot on, but you are wrong on one point. I can read Russian and I took a look at the ballot. The ballot clearly gives two options and they don’t mean the same thing, as you implied: 1 “Аre you for the reunification of Crimea with Russia as a subject of the Russian Federation” 2
    “Are you for the restoration of 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Crimea and want it to remain part of Ukraine.” So the options were clearly delineated and meant opposite things, but obviously the referendum was rigged.
