Openbiome is a company that collects healthy stool samples from healthy individuals for often lifesaving fecal transplants. Getting healthy stool for transplants to combat Clostridium difficile wasn’t really set up in any kind of organized way. Now, as odd as it sounds, people who need healthy stool through their hospital have a much easier time getting it. Kim Horcher, Tim Frisch, and Ivan Van Norman discuss.
