Chris Christie was booed at a couple of events surrounding the Super Bowl in NJ. His former assistant in charge of governmental affairs has resigned one day before she was to be subpoenaed about the corruption surrounding the bridge. She claimed that the subpoena has nothing to do with her timing. Wildstein, the head of the Port Authority, who was responsible for shutting the lanes of the bridge down, is saying that he has evidence that Christie knew of the bridge closures. There are also revelations about discrepancies in the disbursement of Hurricane Sandy funds going to different cities in the state. Finally, Shaquille O’Neal had real estate investments that were given special accommodations from Christie, so Shaq did an endorsement ad and backed him up constantly after the bridge allegations became public.
