Amazon’s “Anticipatory Shipping”: Creepy Invasion of Privacy?

Amazon.com has patented a service they refer to as “anticipatory shipping,” whereby the company compiles data about consumers’ previous purchasing patterns, wish lists, shopping carts and more to determine future purchases, then ships items ahead of time to warehouses closer to the customers most likely to buy them.

In this segment the panel discusses whether this is a creepy invasion of privacy or a helpful use of technology to get us the stuff we want faster than ever.
