“Online pornography portal Pornhub says they saw things heat up during the polar vortex. According to a blog post, while much of the country faced record low temperatures, the porn site saw a surge in visitors.

On Jan. 7 and 8, the site saw an overall traffic increase of 5.2 percent during regular business hours compared to the daily average for January across all pages. But Maine and Michigan, among the hardest hit by the sweeping cold spell, which saw many businesses close their doors, saw increases of more than 40 percent. The next-largest traffic increase was for Florida, which saw freezing temperatures in some of the state despite its reputation for balmy weather. “* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian break it down.
