As an avid and rabid atheist, I find it hilarious that the rich are seeking to control the message of the church, and the Pope.
Pope Francis should shut down the cathedral and tell them all to get screwed.
The Catholic church has enough money to disassemble the St. Patrick’s Cathedral stone by stone, ship it to some place where it will be appreciated, and leave the scumbag robber barons in New York with a hole in the ground.
That would serve them right.
