“The actor who plays King Joffrey is ready to abdicate the Iron Throne.

Jack Gleeson, better known to fans of “Game of Thrones” as the sadistic boy-king Joffrey, told an Irish television station that he’s likely to quit acting once his run on the show ends.

“I have wanted to become an actor and it’s just the last few years I’ve started to change my mind about it, so I’m liable to change it again,” the 21-year-old Irish actor told RTÉ Television’s “Saturday Night Show.””* The Young Turks hosts Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola breaks it down.
