With a lot of misinformation circulating regarding “Obamacare”, some mythbusting is in order. Myth 1: The ACA is not affecting the number of hours worked by employees. Myth 2: The ACA is not affecting premium costs, refuting claims by the Heritage Foundation and other conservative think-tanks. Myth 3: Of uninsured millennials, only 5% say they do not want or need health insurance. It is far too early for any concrete claims to be made either way about the results of the ACA since its implementation has just begun and the employer mandate does not begin until 2015.
