“In a series of somewhat sullen handwritten notes posted Monday on Instagram, Donald Glover revealed that his decision to scale back his role on “Community” had little to do with his new focus on a burgeoning rap career.
The actor, who raps under the name Childish Gambino and has an album “Because The Internet” set for release in December, wrote on hotel stationery, saying, “I didn’t leave Community to rap. I don’t wanna rap. I wanted to be on my own.”
