New studies about poverty in NJ shows that the poverty to prosperity rate is 25% to 7.2% and 2 million NJ residents struggling to meet basic needs.  Research shows that many of Chris Christie’s policies cut services to the poor and gives the benefits to the rich through extreme tax cuts.  Other studies about income inequality across the country showed that the top 1% collected nearly 20% of all income in 2012 and the top top 10% took home nearly 50% of the money.
