I’m amazed no one pointed out that the Koch bros chart of “economically free” countries shows the supposedly “unfree” countries as places like Syria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, countries that are historically war-torn and poverty-stricken, against historically first-world countries like Canada, UK, and the US. Not to mention most of the countries on the “free” end have quite extensive state welfare programs and a habit of public/private business interaction, while many of the countries on the “unfree” end have weak governments, very little in the way of national industry, and most are heavily exploited, post-colonial nations.
what the F is wrong with ben saying “i dont care what happens to snowden” in that he breaks the law he should pay for it. our point i that he is a whistle blower, and whats up with cenk bowing down to him and saying that the espionage trial would be an interesting trial (quote by cenk). what the hell?

We don’t have economic freedom as long as we don’t have money to buy our food, no vacation for leisure, no debt up the eye ball because of healthcare and school loans. When the Koch brothers talk about economic freedom they mean more freedom to exploit workers in order to enrich themselves.
did you notice the two countries above usa in their economic freedom example? hong kong and singapore? that list refers to one economic measure and one only. it is the list of wealth per capita (or number of millionaires per capita) for all countries, where hong kong is first, and singapore is second.

Focusing the debate on what Snowden should and shouldn’t be charged with is a major distraction from the real question of why is no one talking about charging the NSA/Administration officials who authorized these surveillance programs. Their crimes are far more serious and blatantly illegal.
Ben is totally wrong on Turd Nugent. South Central is just at valid a place as Harlem to reference, as any other, for his racist comments. This is beyond obvious!! Have you been to S.C. ? Two points missed I thought:
1.Koch. The point of the ads are not to buy anything(except for corporate news that airs them), but to reinforce talking points and buy your minds. Listen to how many times and the volume of when they said “freedom”. It’s just to reinforce the unaware to react positively to words like “freedom” and whatever bs talking points the right wing has at this time.
2. If ol’ Ted wanted a real fight, then he would have stayed home in Michigan where I grew up… And lost like the pussy he is. What a joke.
Koch Brothers are basically saying be happy with making 34,000 / yr and don’t complain as we get richer and screw you over!!!!
