Romney’s first response was very, very tepid. After clearing it, he came out with a more powerful one, in true Romney form. Todd Akin has apologized for anyone he has hurt, but vows to stay in the race. Michael and Mark think he will get out of the race tomorrow. Tony Perkins’ Family Research Council came out in support of Akin, calling it ‘gotcha’ politics. Audio of Hannity’s radio show where he vehemently defended Akin, but thinks he should get out of the race because the Party won’t win with him anymore.
