Humans Episode 1 is reviewed. In this 8-episode series presented on AMC and Channel 4. In a fictional near-future world, android robots, or “synths” serve humans in lower-class tasks and are treated as little more than slaves. But, what if some of the synths became conscious, and could feel, reason, and desire things of their own?

Scream (the television series) is reviewed. In the series opener, “Red Roses,” the slasher tv series debuts, basing itself on the famous first movie of the Scream movie, but in the modern age of social media. How well do the characters mirror the original premise, and do the characters fill high school tropes a little too well?

Hannibal, season 3, episode 5, “Contorno” is reviewed. The hunters are closing in as Hannibal comes to face to face with Jack Crawford along with Inspector Pazzi, Mason Verger, Will Graham and Chiyoh. Pazzi may be thrown off his path to redemption, as Alana Bloom worries about what could possibly happen next as we move to the midseason point of Hannibal’s final season.

True Detective, season 2, episode 3 is reviewed. The mystery is solved: Ray lives. Viewers are mixed on this outcome, but nonetheless, he continues to be a central part of the show. Bezzerides and Woodrugh investigate Mayor Chessani’s possible connection to Caspere’s death by going to his home, and make an interesting discovery. Semyon proves who he is, and to some extent, so does the actor playing him, Vince Vaughn.

Humans, episode 2 is reviewed. In the AMC and Channel 4 series, we’ve gotten a look at a not-too-distant sci-fi world in which androids with superior AI have become a huge part of society, leaving humans like Laura and Mattie Hawkins angry and disenfranchised.
