With the last 16 of the World Cup fast approaching, we want to bring you our Turks and Jerks of the tournament so far. Francis Maxwell, Evan Paley and producer Jason Rubin share their 3 Turks and 3 Jerks of the competition, some obvious (Suarez), and some will raise a few eyebrows.

World Cup Round of 16 got underway in an emotional, heart wrenching and outright exhilarating fashion in the game between Brazil vs Chile. With the game ending 1-1 after extra time, Brazil scraped through after a grueling penalty shoot out.

Josh Gibbs has sent us a few videos, and we enjoyed them so much, we asked him to change gears, and provide us a prediction of the 2014-2015 Super Bowl champions.

The USA did not beat Group G’s best, Germany, but they did keep it close enough to advance to the Round of 16 for the second straight World Cup, a first in US soccer history.

With Belgium through to the last 16 in Group H, the second spot was up for grabs in the game between Algeria vs Russia. Algeria needed just a tie or a win to secure their first ever knockout stage entry, and there dreams came true as the game ended 1-1.

Group C’s game concluded in dramatic fashion as Greece stole the second spot right from under the Ivory Coast’s nose. It was the Greeks who went in front as Samaras put them one up.

Iran vs Bosnia was a game involving two teams on the opposite end of the spectrum. Iran needed a win to qualify with a Nigeria loss, where as Bosnia would compete solely for pride, and pride is what they left with.
