The TYT Network is looking for an experienced Producer with superior news judgement and
dynamic news producing experience. This Producer will support a daily morning news show and the launch of a new channel on the TYT Network. The ideal candidate must have a keen
understanding of multi-platform strategy and a track record of breaking news successes. This
person will excel by executing big-picture goals and simultaneously focusing on the details and
quality of daily news coverage.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate on-air news coverage for a daily, one-hour morning news show.
Researching stories with a specific eye towards contextual points
Collect quotes from story subjects
Produce original videos as needed for story segments
Build show rundowns
Double-check for factual, informational and spelling errors
Use performance metrics to direct updates and changes to segments
Communicate production needs to studio, post-production and publishing teams
Building graphics and liaising with the graphics department
Research and prepare guests bios, lower thirds
Guest booking and coordinating logistics
Implement storytelling styles and techniques that best resonate with mobile audiences.
Assign story commentary to network hosts
Manage pre- and post-production workflow for short-form commentary clips, including
hands-on editing and publishing
Track and report report on performance of assigned content on various platforms
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should have experience working and multitasking in a high-pressure
television news environment
Sharp news judgment is a must
Must possess solid newsgathering abilities
Demonstrable ability to select and track trending news stories.
Proven track record with digital media and execution
Understanding of engagement best practices across various broadcast and digital
platforms.
