“…Unconsciously, perhaps, many Christians consider Islam to be a kind of dark shadow of their own faith, with the ugly words of the Koran standing in absolute contrast to the scriptures they themselves cherish. In the minds of ordinary Christians – and Jews – the Koran teaches savagery and warfare, while the Bible offers a message of love, forgiveness, and charity. For the prophet Micah, God’s commands to his people are summarized in the words “act justly, and love mercy, and walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8). Christians recall the words of the dying Jesus: “Father, forgive them: they know not what they do.”

I’m sad to see that Cenk has abandoned liberal principles in favor of being an Islamic apologist on this issue. I’ll continue to watch his videos on other subjects but I will no longer click on anything regarding muslims or islam if it comes from TYT.
First of all they are Muslims, not Islamists. He isn’t any type of apologist. The fact is the old testament depicts horible things by god and his followers. The Koran is mild compared to the old testament. It is the Bible, not the koran that says an unruly child should be put to death. It also says rape victims should be forced to marry their rapist.
