As we say in Scotland “Maxwell you are talking pish”. TYT I think you owe it to yourselves to actually do some research before commenting rather than allow an obviously biased opinion to be put forward on your behalf. No guarantees in this world so every now and then you have to take a chance. Check out Russell Brands videos on this subject for a more balanced view.
I think he should probably stick to sports reporting. He sounded very ill-informed, this is about democracy for most people.

From the very opening statements it’s clear that this reporter doesn’t have much of a grasp of scottish politics or indeed what’s going on in Scotland at the moment. I think perhaps he should do a bit of research first.
The opening remarks are disgusting, Francis maxwell has just destoryed his journalistic career.
The referendum is one ratified by both the Scottish parliament AND Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Thus Mr Salmond and the SNP have successfully and democratically won a mandate on the basis of that which is written into the Edinburgh Agreement.
What happens after independence day, is ENTIRELY the decision of the Scottish electorate. To suggest otherwise is a denial of democracy… and the Scottish people will never allow any party, regardless of name, history or political ideology to dictate policy to them… neither for that matter would HM QEII.
Democracy will lead Scotland, Europe’s most resource-rich nation and one of the most successful western industrial countries.
The Scots taught the world the meaning of representative democracy. Read up on Thomas Muir and the five “Scottish martyrs”… then you’ll understand why YOU have a vote today!
