As the Israeli-Palestinian conflict death toll increases, Israeli Prime Benjamin Netanyahu is rolling out his talking points to try to explain why Israel is the victim. Not only is Israel being manipulated, according to Netanyahu, Hamas is also manipulating the American media.

Even stranger, US Secretary of State John Kerry is saying the same. The exact same thing. “The Young Turks” put together a mashup to show completely the talking points match up. Which country is trying to influence Americans again?

“Reiterating a point made in an interview on This Week with George Stephanopoulos, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Sunday morning that Hamas was intentionally endangering Palestinian civilians to create gruesome images that would turn the international community against Israel.

“We’re sad for every civilian casualty,” Netanyahu said. “They’re not intended. This is the difference between us. Hamas deliberately targets civilians and deliberately hides behind civilians. They embed their rocketeers, their rocket caches, their other weaponry from which they fire, which they use to fire on us, in civilian areas. What choice do we have?
