“On her radio show Monday, conservative talker Laura Ingraham floated the idea that President Barack Obama and the news media are using the Israeli-Gaza conflict and Malaysia Flight 17 to distract Americans from undocumented immigrants crossing the U.S. border.

“These are important stories, I’m not saying they’re not,” Ingraham said. “But what is happening in this country (on the border) is critically important, immediately important to the lives of people who are here now.”

Ingraham then posed the question to her audience. “Do you believe there is an ongoing attempt to divert attention in the American media and by the Obama administration away from our own domestic crisis here in favor of swamping the narrative with only foreign policy stories?””* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.
