Dashcon, a convention meant to celebrate all things Tumblr and fandom, recently turned from unsuccessful con to joke meme to a potential scandal. It’s not easy to run a convention, for sure, but maybe there are real lessons to be learned from the convention…namely that conventions are a big deal and harder to make a success than it might seem.
