PC gamers discovered hidden files in their Watch Dogs games with significantly better graphics. A modder going by handle “TheWorse” at the Guru3D forums brought the ability to unlock the improved graphical quality to light, and made a mod available. But why didn’t the shipped game have this outright? Many are crying foul as Ubisoft finally responds to the controversy…what’s yet to be seen is whether or not annoyed PC gamers will accept it. Does Ubisoft have a point? Why were the improved graphical effects apparently already in the game’s shipped code, albeit disabled?
