A Danish travel company has taken an unusual approach to encourage Danes to go on vacation: the country’s underpopulation problem. The company is offering three years of free baby supplies to any customers who can prove they conceived while on holiday.
Is this a good idea? Should a private company be in the business of dealing with the country’s underpopulation problem? Is this a form of social engineering as with China’s one-child policy? Or is it a creepy intrusion into citizens’ private lives?
Our panel discusses all these questions and more on this segment of The Point with Ana Kasparian.
