The AZ State Senator that changed his mind on the legislation he originally voted for spoke to Fox about how discriminating against gays wasn’t his intention, but couldn’t tell what entity he was going after instead. Rush Limbaugh lamented that the Homosexual Lobby is bullying Jan Brewer to veto this bill. Rep Louie Gohmert spoke out in favor of the bill, crying about how its limiting religious rights of faithful Americans. Gohmert also outlined the anger from Black pastors that obtained rights during the Civil Rights Era, that want to hate on another minority group. A court in Texas has shot down a proposed ban on same sex marriage in the state. 70% of millennials think that religious groups are alienating young people from joining their cause or believing in their faith based on the way they talk about and treat the LGBT community. 1 in 3 millennials say that they don’t have a religious affiliation. Very large protests are happening in Venezuela between the right wing citizens and the violent left wing government run by Madura. Biker gangs that are pro-government are attacking the protesters. Vladimir Putin has ordered massive exercises for the Russian military and put them on high alert after the Ukrainian leader was ousted. This move is seen as a threat to the ousting group in Ukraine. Orrin Hatch tweeted disapprovingly in Obama’s desire to cut Medicare, but 24 hours later, he complained via twitter about how he’s disappointed that Obama isn’t getting serious about cutting entitlements like Medicare. A bill in Kansas is proposing that every child that enrolls in public school provide extra documentation that was never required before, in hopes of scaring them and their potentially undocumented immigrant parents into avoiding sending their kids to school and use American resources. Republican Chris Mapp, a candidate for governor in Texas, said that ranchers should be able to shoot “wetbacks” on sight if they’re roaming their property. When challenged on this hateful language, Mapp doubled down and said calling them wetbacks is as normal as breathing air in South Texas.
