Whether or not human activity is responsble for climate change in the last 200 years is not relevant to the decision of whether we should take action to mitigate it. It’s a red herring issue. Arguing about it detracts from the main points that climate change is happening, it’s detrimental to our future, we know to a high degree of certainty how to mitigate it, and that it’s (luckily for us) a human activity that we can control.
