Cenk hosting. WolfPAC news. After a setback, our California organizer/volunteer regrouped and had the bill reintroduced, where it passed the State House vote. Our deficit has reached its lowest since Obama entered office at $680 billion, down from the $1.2 trillion that Bush left for him. The 2014 deficit is projected to drop to $514 billion. Despite these real numbers, Republicans and commentators continue to say our deficit is the largest its ever been due to Obama’s policies. President Obama’s interview with Bill O’Reilly over Benghazi and the fake IRS scandal has pissed off the Fox News personalities since he told Bill that their network keeps ginning up these fake controversies.
Glenn Beck weighed in on the “controversial” Coke ad that aired during the Super Bowl, claiming that it was made to divide us politically, by forcing racists to come out in opposition. Although the Breitbart editor focused on the gay couple featured in the ad, it turns out that the woman that wrote the song was a lesbian. Another Breitbart article wrote about how the CEO of Coke put the ad together in order open Americans’ minds to Muslim culture so that he could sneak funds to terrorist Muslim groups, that pose as Muslim charities. Cenk explains how this accusation cools charitable giving to Muslim charities that help Muslims get ahead or even a fair shake to experience the American dream. Republicans are also on the warpath against the USPS, criticizing their reception of government money. The one problem is that the USPS doesn’t even receive money from the government, but they do have to operate under very strict regulation that the government places on them. Elizabeth Warren stepped in and proposed that the postal service go into the business of providing payday checks for people without bank accounts, sans the banking fees. Transcanada continues its serious push to get the Keystone Pipeline approved by downplaying and lying about the dangerous factors involved. It has been discovered that after years and years, a huge explosion and oil spill happened in a remote part of Alberta was never reported or acknowledged. They claimed that the reporting of the explosion was ignored to a clerical error. CBC also reported that the rupture rate of these pipelines is significantly higher than others because of the nature of the liquids that flow through them. Another report has just been discovered to have been covering up the toxins released by ignoring a very significant source of them.
